It's an article about Jason Bonham.
Here's the relevant bit:
QUOTE
On his early musical preferences:
My Dad got me into a band called The Police ... he took me to see The Police and it was a cool moment. I had never been to a concert with my Dad ever before. I remember we also saw the Osmonds and Bay City Rollers. Yes, Dad did take me to see the Osmonds and I saw Marie Osmond with her hair in curlers, which ruined the illusion at the time. But I fondly remember The Police and it was a very, very cool concert. I remember my Dad put me on his shoulders so I could see the band better. He got us backstage afterwards so we could say hello. And my Dad stepped on Sting's foot and he was wearing blue suede shoes at the time and Sting said something like,
"Don't step on my blue suede shoes." My Dad turned to him and said, "I'll step on your head in a minute" ... It was quite funny looking across and seeing Andy (Summers) and Stewart (Copeland) sniggering underneath and I'm thinking, 'Dad, come on, don't cause any trouble.'
END QUOTE
I think I may catch his show if he plays around here.......

Great interview...I remember when I was 4 years old, Led Zeppelin were one of my favourite bands and I couldn't stop listening to 'Whola Lotta Love'; that's when I started getting everything I could and turn it into sticks, so that I could sit close to the arm of a sofa, imagining it was a drumset and started keeping the beat while listening to that track...I destroyed a couple of sofas, then I finally got my first drumset as a Christmas present...I was in heaven!
We bough a new sofa then.

This was at the Birmingham Odeon on December 15th, 1979.
Confirmation at 5:26 :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulDR5YWv04oI seem to remember reading on this very forum that Andy recalled seeing Bonzo with his son at a Police gig (most likely that one) and that he recalls Bonzo being normal/friendly - something along those lines. Can anybody confirm that Andy said something like that?
