i wander over to tpt sometimes, just to see of there are any new bootlegs and stuff, really.... there anever are.
there was a big red banner at the top of the 'community' page saying that, for a few days only around chrimbo and the new year, there would be issues posting on there....
i was the last person to post under 'the police' in a thrilling discussion about your favourite police songs on December 13th!
(Mine were: A Sermon, Visions of the Night, King of Pain, Can't stand losing you / Reggatta, Bombs Away, Dead End Job, Peanuts, Omegaman, Secret Journey, Truth Hits Everybody.... man, how i wish i coulda picked the set-list for Tourzilla!)
and one doesn't seem able to post at the moment at all, u're right, marsbars.
There was a comment (at the end of the tour) sayting that the tpt site would remain for use by police fans.... i think it's mildly interesting and rather predictable that, rather like the band, we (the fannies) seem to have gone our separate ways and returned to bosom of the domains and the 'communities' that we know and love and which we were part of before tourzilla.
Clearly (cos of who runs it) the site is more Gordo-centric than either Andy or Stewart, and that's not intended as a criticism, just an observation..... and no doubt that the effects of the money-grabbing, non-responsive, jugganaut-esque (?) aspects of Tourzilla and its affililates were more keenly felt, shared and expressed at tpt (adding extra dates after red rocks, no info about merchandise or new recordings, no CHA!, ticketbastard etc) so i guess people were always going to leave the glare of the TPT site and crawl back under the own FanRocks.
