STEWART COPELAND

Andy Summers' One Train Later movie will be released on June 6, 2011. This documentary is directed by Lauren Lazin. One of the producers is Nicolas Cage. The film will trace Summers' life from his youth in post-World War 2 England to his time playing with the Animals and 1960s psychedelic bands to the Police's 1977 formation and current reunion. To tell the story Andy selected about 25,000 photos over the years. They will be featured in an animated style. Other part in the movie is The Police's concert at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles in June 2007.

Great news! I remember asking him about it at the Desire Walks the Streets signing a few years back. Having no idea it was done in a documentary style I asked "Who's playing you?" To which Andy replied "I am!"

Your welcome... I am also so excited about it, in spite of the fact I didn't read his memoirs yet.

I cant wait! Does anyone know if it going to be a major release? Will it go straight to video? I am looking forward to it.

This'll be awesome. Wonder if they'll have a premiere, somewhere.

Too bad Andy doesn't have a fan site, but at least we have the FB group.
