Some of my funniest movie memories include this man. Airplane, all the Naked Gun movies and the short-lived Naked Gun t.v. show. He will be missed. But his work and his dry comedic style will live on forever.

Yep me too. I laughed 'til it hurt watching Airplane.
He was such a huge comic talent. His films will be making people laugh for many years to come.

Typically classic moment from the Naked Gun t.v. series (pre-Dumb and Dumber):
As the detective, searching a dark office with only a flashlight to light his way, he opens a desk drawer:
"Bingo." he says, indicating an investigator's "eureka" moment, possibly discovering the key piece of evidence in the investigation...
He pulls out a bingo card from the drawer.
Classic.

Very sad.
My wife and I love the Naked Gun movies.

I LOVE the line where OJ is lying in his deathbed in Naked gun. Makes me laugh every time!
"Wilma, I promise you; whatever scum did this, not one man on this force will rest one minute before until he's behind bars. Now, let's grab a bite to eat."
