Thanks so much for this. I really enjoyed it. The stuff Stewart says at the end may be a little hard for some to take. E-L, if you watch the video, you may want to cover your ears for the last twenty seconds or so.

Thanks, I saw it yesterday. Was waiting for a week now for this. Jakhals Frank was really really nervous for this interview.
Stewart looks very relaxed.

Now, LL, for those of us on a dial up (and thus may not see this video for DAYS) please tell us what Stewart is saying. Curiosity killed more than just the cats...

Hi,

I juste saved it on my computer. MPEG-4 format, 19,5 Mo. I'm pretty sure other members here already did the same. But anyway, if it has to be shared, no problem, just let me know.

Stewart promises "no new material" if The Police were to do a new tour… which I sincerely doubt. But let's imagine they dot it: I hope that we'll get to hear some tracks they didn't play during the 2007-2008 tour.

Philippe.

SC basically said IF hell freezes over and the Police were to tour again, he can guarantee only one thing: there will be no new material.
Don't know if this is said in jest as a jab at Gordo or not.

Oh, thank God! Rather, thank you Johnny O for finally breaking the silence and posting what he said! The wait is over! The wait about knowing what Stewart said, I mean. I guess we'll be waiting a LLLOOONNNNGGGG time for the other part.

Well ltwoman ~ most of the interview is kind of old news. He remembers the Pinkpop Festival.

The best part:

Interviewer: When I was a child, I would have given a million dollars if I had it, to meet you!
Stewart: Now, that you have. Can you give the money?

 Stewart is always so funny. :P

I uploaded the interview:

I had to upload the dvd-files, cause when I tried to convert them I somehow kept ending up with no video or no audio.

No new material, well, who knows? Life is dynamic.

Edit Copeland derangments from the film Everyone Stares. I love those new sounds from The Police.

Maybe someday.
