For anyone that is interested

Tickets for the Isle of Wight festival go on sale this Friday at 9am GMT

www.isleofwightfestival.com

So far the only bands confirmed are
Kings of Leon to headline on the Friday night and Brit band Pulp.

The prices come in at a whopping £175 for an adult camping ticket and £150 for an adult non camping ticket.

Ouch!

I will wait to see if there is anyone playing that I really want to see before I buy a ticket.

Any Nutters going? I can offer basic beach hut accomodation for a couple of you if need it.

£175 for three days?

I just finished watching a documentary about the festival. It seems pretty cool! I'm thinking of going to it this summer. Could you might give me some information like the price of the tickets or where to buy them?

I got a HUGE coffee table book on Woodstock for Christmas and it had a section devoted to the IW Festival . It began the year before Woodstock and it's noted for like concerts of that time and beginning of SOMETHING BIG. Bob Dylan chose to forego Woodstock and do the IW festival that year, which was two weeks later.
