Stewart has arrived in Eindhoven. He will be interviewed for a very popular tv-show in the Netherlands. As soon as there is a link available I will let you know.
There was also a nice interview in a local paper. Some quotes:
Q: How does a componist do his work?
A: I go to the top of a hill with the wind in my hair, en the raging storm through my heart. I sacrifice my heart to the gods of the music. Thunder and lightning! My sacrifice will be accepted or not. I receive the gift of the music. Then I go back to my studio, with or without melody.
Sometimes it gives you a pain in the neck.
"It makes me more nervous that other people are playing Mikrokosmos, then when I would have to do it myself. I will probably be standing back in the hall, yelling: faster, faster.
There are still tickets for sale. You can still change your mind, catch a plane and come over
