shows a photo similar to the ones in the "2010 thunk pics" thread
apparently the photo session was at A&M offices in New York on April 4, 1979

I recently found another photo from another photographer which seems to be from the same day

I know that these photos were taken around the Bottom Line gigs, but the date April 4 can still be wrong (about a day or two).

Can anyone visit a library and check on which day the New York Post's headline was "Boycott Beef Once A Week" ?

thanks
Dietmar

I don't know about the Post but the NYTimes ran this story on April 5 of 1979. It was the national "Beefless Wednesdays" campaign. I would normally expect the story to run on the same date, but if I recall correctly the Post is an afternoon/evening paper (Times is a morning paper) which can make a difference in some cases.

Here's the NYTimes story I found: http://select.nytimes.com/gst/abstract. ... day&st=cse
