i know it was an andy 'gig' which he was obliged to fulfill after he had joined the band. so they all went.
2 albums worth of stuff; some of which has the band on, some doesn't...

that's where they met Olaf Kubler who later popped up on 'low life' which was evidently recorded some years earlier than when it appeared on the b-side of 'Spirits In The Material World'. Dearth of material, boys?

i was under the impression that 'Code word elvis' didn't have Stewart on it..... i LOVE the short version of that song, esp the drum break into the solo and gordo's vocals sound wonderfully fragile.

am i right in thinking gordo felt that the bulk of the material was not eberhard's but he just put squealchy noises and bleeps on their jams?

it seems that some of the lyrics came from whatever was to hand; 'san francisco waitress' is a reading of a news story, the whatthefuckwereyouonabout lyrics for 'video magic' come from a cartoon which you can see projected onto the backdrop in the video on yootube:
"I'd like a garbage can."
"Ganvanized or plastic? "
"What's the difference? "
"About 28 decibels."
 :!: :?:

i think the remixes are something to do with a compilation album which eberhard had out fairly recently.
