Why did it take a random Twitter search to find out about this?

Not that I can go, but hopefully some of our LA-area people can.

Drats. I'm gonna there for the Fiction Plane show on the 18th and am taking the red eye back home early Monday morning. There were some great airfares to LA for that time about a month ago, too :(

Why is it that my house and LA are on opposite ends of North America?
Why is North America so freakin' big?

I'll be pouting for days now. However, to all you lucky folks that can attend, DO IT! Enjoy, and send reports, pictures, etc.

Given that the tickets are already for sale via the TicketMaster link I posted, I assume it is very much confirmed. Though apparently you have to have an American Express credit card to purchase tickets more than just a couple days before the event, which is pretty weird.

Thanks for spotting this.

I will add it to the list of upcoming projects.

American Express is sponsoring it, so the "pre-sale" for only AmEx members goes until 2 days before the event.

Ugh!

Grammy Muesuem is such a cool place and I am so close to Downtown LA from where I work. An awesome place to see STEWART, and hear a reading (lovers of the audio book know what a treat that will be.)

BUT the Monday before Thanksgiving, short work week, is a really busy week for me.

Also looong story, my right foot has a fracture with a big Boot so I can’t drive right now, but I hope to be healed and driving again by mid-November. So maybe if the stars allign right I could go after work to the Gammy Mueseum.

Shout out to Conroy – I may be able to make the Fiction Plane show on the 18th at the Viper Room, if my foot is healed. Will have to let you know as the date gets closer. Perhaps we can connect…
