My friends, I received my copy of the audiobook of STRANGE THINGS HAPPEN! If you haven't bought it yet, I strongly suggest you to have it! It's amazing to listen to Stewart reading the book, with the intepretations of what's written; listening to the way he reads the book, is really like having him there, telling you the story.
In between the chapters you can also listen to some extracts of the tracks accompainying the subject (when he talks about Klark Kent, when he talks about the Rhythmatist, etc...) and it's a great way to get into the story!
It's a beautiful 7-disc packaging, for 8 hours of audio!
Wow, it's soooo coool, trust me!!!
There are many websites that has it in catalogue.

I want to add to the "yes, get it!!!" Especially if you commute and have loads of drive time. I even got a friend into it and we share it back and forth and have our own private 'book club"!

In the car is perfect! Today I was listening the third cd, with all the tale about the Opera 'HOly Blood and Crescent Moon', with audible snippets of the show. Great and funny story we can say.

I would love it if Stewart would put out a "soundtrack" CD with more of the music contained therein. My friend is wild for a piece that proceeds Chapter 4 (the scene at his prep school) and I haven't been able to find it anywhere else.

Just the bit I heard StewartHimself read in that interview was fun, really whetted my whistle for the book on CD!

For anyone who needs an additional motivation to get this audiobook, check out the Studio 360 interview link that Dirty Martini posted recently. As a part of that audiointerview, Stewart is reading excerpts from "Strange Things Happen"-a really great quick 'taste' of the real thing! Much props and Thanks! as always to DM!! DM rules!

Ah...today I listened to the part where Stewart talks the way we Italians give such an importance to what (translated) means Pig God...eheheh...well, in Italian this sound definitely 'out of tune' when said by someone, it's really a heavy heavy exclamation, and he said that there is nothing in English that could be compared to it...but the way he tells that story is amazing!

Today it was the last cd...too bad it's over...7 cd, 8 hours of Stewart talking...well, that's been an incredible listening...too cool, really!
I will listen to it again maybe in a few weeks.

I got mine about a month ago. I only finished cd 1 and 2 and really look forward to 3-7, but have yet to find a time when my house is quiet. My kids keep interrupting me and ask why I'm reading a book and listening to the same book at the same time.

it's so funny (for me...ehehe) when he talks about the show in Turin and the way he shouts out loud
"...you fucking, fucking, fucking bastaaaard..."
That's a moment!
