Stewart tribute live in Eindoven?

Hi there gang; I'm posting this as new topic as even if I have already written on the Eindoven concert post, a new topic will surely make some more noise.
I will be in Holland with Eugenio to see the show in Eindoven; I read there will be some fans coming from this forum; I wonder if there is a music club like a pub or similar in Eindoven where on the evening before the show, we can jam on some Stewart Copeland tracks, like a sort of tribute to Stewart. I play the bass, but I'd need a guitar player, a singer and a drummer; no rehearsals my friends...just a good planning of the whole thing would be great (I'm used to go on stage with no rehearsals, but with a good idea of what you want to do, I guess it's possible).
People from Holland (and all of you forumers coming from other countries), what would you say?
First thing first: anyone from Eindoven (or somewhere near) who knows a pub, a music club with a decent stage, even if small?
Second step: musicians...
Third step: planning the setlist
Fourth step: musician who will agree, would you be able to send me the part you will play as wav file to match it up to create a virtual rehearsal?
Giovanni

Hi Gio!
That's a great idea. I will ask around for a pub.

I really like the idea!
It's a pity I won't be able to go to Eindhoven until the 13th, 'cause I'd love to hear you play.
As for a place to jam: I think the Effenaar still exists.

Miquel, that's great news!
I've got no plans (so far) to be in Eindhoven for more than the actual day of the concert... although I can hold a guitar or a bass.

Brilliant idea Giovanni!
Great to know that you will be there Miquel.
I can't help you all make beautiful music (unless you need a really bad clarinet player, or a shouty singer) but I'd love to be there and make sure everyone has a glass of water/beer...
(Maud - is it OK to get to Eindhoven a day early for this?)

Smudge: no problem. We will be there.
I'm still working on the place. The Effenaar is the local stage, but I believe that will be too big (and expensive). I guess we will be looking for a pub with a little stage? As soon as I heard from my Eindhoven contacts I will let you know.

A pub with a smaller stage could be good enough.

Hi there guys,
I just bought tickets to see the SC show here in Holland with my 3 sons. I wonder were you would hold your jam sessions in Eindhoven the day before, I would love to join. Hopefully Stewart could join as well. this is so exciting he will be here and we will see him live. I have 4 seats in the first row.

I'm still looking for a pub with a small stage where you all can play, but I wasn't lucky so far. Most places already have bands playing that evening. But I will keep searching and keep you posted.

A question for the musicians. Do we need a bar/stage, or just somewhere for you to play? I ask because it is a Friday night. If Eindhoven is like English towns that is the night when every venue is booked. But if many of us are going to be in Eindhoven maybe we could find a place for a jam, and to sleep? Maybe rent a big house where we will not wake up the neighbors? <grin>

Obiwan, not musicians found at the moment; if this will ever happen, you're at the drum...
By the way, I can play guitar, bass and drums, so if there is someone into playing different instruments, we can also swap our places.
Smudge, your idea sounds good, but I guess we would be a little too noisy...and usually pub where bands play have already a pa system, something that wouldn't be easy to find

Does it have to be a great PA system or is a "not so very good PA" also acceptable?
I've found this place which rents rehearsal-rooms for bands, but they also have a bar where you can play.
It's not sure (yet) if we are allowed to play there and it's not in the center of Eindhoven, but it's a possibility.
