And just like watching "Everyone Stares" post-Tour, it's a bit mind boggling at how much has happened since that book. You could hear optimism in Andy's voice when asked about reunion rumours-and admitting honestly that ol' Sting has to be the the one to give any go ahead. I wish once again that there had been more good interviews with Andy and his broader perspective of The Police's music, the Band dynamic, and how all three of their talents produced the uniqueness of their sound. I would very much like to hear or read a similar interview, with as good an interviewer, now after it all.
It really does seem, both from Stewart in Strange Things, and in Andy's silence (well, I haven't seen/heard/read anything!) that The Police is truly history now, in all three of their minds......Glad to have had the Tour, wish there could have been at least one album of new stuff-but then that's been hashed out on this site already
