Stewart is listed as #14. Ugh. Behind Phil Collins. And Travis Barker. Uhhhhhhh.

Whatever.

As an undisputed drumming revolutionary, Stewart Copeland is quite rightly name-checked by drummers all over the world as an inspiration and influence. His fusing of reggae rhythms with rock stylings helped The Police become one of the biggest bands on the planet. He continues to work tirelessly with other bands and on an array of soundtrack projects.

I think part of the reason SC is placed so low on these lists is because he simply doesn't play enough. There isn't enough SC drumming to listen to! If he hadn't stopped playing when he did there would be more material to enjoy, reaching more people and moving higher up these lists. Most people who voted for this list probably don't know of his whole other bodies of work. He's only played kit a limited # of world tours in the past 25 years, so there you go. We all know he's waaayy better than Barker, come on.

And where is Jojo Mayer? He is beyond sick.

These lists are silly.
I don't wanna work, I just wanna bang on the drums all day.
