(The things you learn on the PoliceWiki.)
25 years ago this summer, the world was marinated, saturated, and macerated in this:

So it was!
What a blast from the past, but the link says this video has content from UMG and is no longer available in your country. What's UMG anyone?

Universal Music Group. Some sort of copyright or whatever it's called with regards to cinema.
But what is "earworm"?
It's been a few days here of "lost in translation"!

But what is "earworm"?[/quote]
Earworm: A song or tune that gets stuck it your head, ironically one you most likely hate. (from the Urban Dictionary)

Yep, an earworm is exactly as Dane said, LT. Though I really should have said "an ultimate earworm"* rather than "the ultimate earworm in the subject line. That was a mistake on my part. I'm pretty sure "It's A Small World" is *the* ultimate earworm.
Sorry for the unexpected block, moonstone. I'm sure there must be an available "Money For Nothing" on there somewhere for you.
[*Which is superlatively incorrect, but I'm counting "ultimate" here as a group. Because I can.]

Oooh, superlatives! It's been a while since I've got my grammar groove on around here. And DM, your saucy superlative usage is what makes you the most unique.

am i right in thinking that Gordo was intially 'invited' to be on the song because of the, to put it kindly, similarities between the vocal melody of the "I want my..."intro and the vocal line from "Don't stand so close to me"
clearly it's the same notes, not necessarily in the same order (to paraphrase eric and ernie)... but was gordo invited on the tune to avoid court activity?
