My opinion? Well, he sings it as the original and nothing changes...ok, it sounds ok, even if it doesn't give me that much...the original is such a great track that I can't say I don't like it...it seems to me like he has taken away the drum track and the guitars, as well as the piano...but I feel like this could be the backing track of the original one, do you know what I mean?
It doesn't 'shock' me anyway...but I like it.

Dear Sting,

Write something new. Then I'll give you a fair listen.

I'm sick and tired of rehashes of old songs that were perfectly fine before.

Good gosh

This man's new goal must be to have his music played in every grocery store across every country whilst people shop for produce. If he touches Secret Journey again I'll strangle a facsimile of him...

He learned nothing useful in 2007 and 2008.

STOP MAKING ROMANTIC COMEDY END CREDIT MUSIC!

Seriously? I love it and I'm not a big Sting solo kinda guy. There's just something about that version that makes me love it.

Um. ELTSDIM is probably my favorite song, but mostly because of the fantastic hi hat. Minus that component of the song, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I guess this pretty much means that Stingo will continue to rehash his tired repertoire and will saturate the fabled musical he is writing with them as well.

gone...well, just wait a few weeks and I'm sure it will appear again, mainly because the promotion is on his way; 'Symphonicity' will be released on July 13th (I guess all around the world at the same date).
Sting.com will surely give us some more informations soon.

I have only heard the short orchestrated trailer which was available befo'

For a man who has said that re-hashing old ground doesn't particularly appeal to him etc he's sure doing well. i mean, sure, there's an argument to say that he's re-worked the original songs, as he did with tourzilla,

As for calling the new album "Symphonicity", i mean, for fucks sake.

What about Outlandos D'Sell-Out-Bastard?
or Zenyatta Mundane?
or Reggatta De Blank-Out-Of-New-Ideas?
