I so dig what Hot Head Stands for "bucking the music industry" cause we all know it sucks today. But with that being said I am not a fan.

Nor am I a fan of Fiction Crap ...ooops I meant plane....These kids need to just let the legacy die with The Police.

I will never jump on the bandwagon to follow a crowd ...like so many do...case and point Sting with Orchestra...that is so gonna suck...and I am not willing to compromise to get on with everyone...just to be popular...Stewart ,Peter Gabriel, David Bowie, King Crimson, and Colin Hay are a few of the last of a dying breed of true artists.

I love the fact Stewart is scoring something for Gamelan Orchestra and also composing for marching band...AWESOME AWESOME KUDDOS TO STEWART and Gabriel just did a thing with Orchestra, but it wasn't pretentious like Sting...it was real.

I wonder how many of you knew what a Gamelan Orchestra was ...that it came from Bali and Java...I knew about this when I was 20.

Sting is out of Ideas...and unless he reunites The Police I am so over Gordo.

As true musicians we have to think outside the box and learn things that are not very popular...and go against the grain all my life I have done that.

Call me mad, but I sell out for no one and had that been the case I would be touring with a bunch of country hacks...I get the calls i just turn them down.

The only way for the music industry to survive is to boycott the fluff and bs...if we do not take a stand for true art...this music industry we love shall go up in flames.

Whew I am done...have a wonderful day.

Cool see them jamming in a store.. one of their songs reminds me lot of Ramuthra music and one brought to my mind some extracts of an argentinian rock band called "Soda Stereo" the song was "Vitamins" (Vitaminas) and some of the bass line plus guitar sound me a primitive (1985) sound of what HHS do it nowadays...no exactly the same but an idea of what is it working as a pop/rock song... I attached a link of a video "Soda Stereo" performed live in Lima - Peru the same day, suppossed THE POLICE should did a gig in Lima December 2007, enjoy it if you like... uhmmm by the way, the singer and guitarist is Gustavo Cerati the same Andy Summers played into "Outlandos D' Americas" Tribute POLICE Album:

Thanks Jose! That rocked!

I'm thinking about what I like about HHS...some of the same things I like about bands that prominently feature songwriting by drummers. Cool, varying rhythms. Plus, interestingly strange vocal stylings a la Zappa, and a goodly punch of ska thrown in.

I bet these guys just rage in the right setting. I'm thinking a smallish club. They could use a suitably weird light or multimedia show, I think...

I like the atmosphere (maybe it's the location as well) - they're so enthusiastic.
And there was one bit quite Bed's-Too-Big-Without-You-intro-ish

Here a more powerfull song of this band...and all the energy of peruvian fans that is one of the reasons that more of the stuff included on "Soda Stereo DVD" was took from Lima's two sold out gigs (the same date The Police could be scheduled in Peru) also you could see the drummer have gray hair - he is an Stewart fan ..."Soda Stereo" was a trio rock band inspired by "The Police" and reunited 15 years after their disband ( 2007, the same year The Police reunited too):

"Sobredosis de TV" (Lima- National Stadium December 9th 2007):

Never mind Dietmar, tastes differ.I don't suppose Julio and Enrique Iglesias have the same fans. (??? Where did these two come from? sorry).

I can't explain why I like it, but I do. And, not really all of it, but most of it. I'm looking forward to hearing more. Wish I could get to one of the US shows. Jordan, Do a show in Florida!

What, Chatch? You don't want to tour Jersey?

I think it's pure awesome that they are opening for Les & Co.... they compliment them well and I think the crowd is going to dig it. Can't wait to see the response over here.
