And I missed it!!!! There are not enough "%" and "&" characters on my keyboard to assemble the swearwords...

They just didn't advertise the ceremony and I only found it b/c of the Yahoo News story.

Somebody? Anybody? Link video? Pleeeeeeeeze???

(I did just get to see Little Steven induct the Hollies and play lead on "Long Cool Woman"...god do I love that man...he's right up there in the holy trinity with Nick Lowe, Stephen Colbert, Ray Davies, Stewart, etc.)

Oh, and I got to hear a radio inteview, hmm, back in the Spring, with Iggy on the album he had just released, "Preliminaries". Very erudite and clear spoken, Mr. Pop is-especially after all he's put himself through!
And all of Iggy's charm came out, I very much enjoyed how he described his music. This was a PBS 'Fresh Air' interview, and maybe one of y'all can find a link, or at least find a website w/ the audio, worth a listen!

Hey, thanks for the tip. I'll certainly make it my business to try to locate that. Saw Ig a couple years back in Memphis and he was still spot on as always. Amazing, as you say, he's still so lucid. ;)

So far snippets of the performance have been posted, but there's a full repeat on Sunday. Still bummed I missed Billie Joe's induction, too. snif. Anybody know if World's Best Bassist (sorry Sting) Mike Watt played??

Although Jimmy Cliff and ABBA were stupendous.

I know Stewart's on record saying the whole thing's flimflam - and to an extent I agree - but it's still fun to watch 'em play.

(Bruce & Patti in the front row, too. Was hoping for a blowout jam at the end...oh well.)
