I know it's silly but it's a bit sad!!

When the tour was first announced and we were all deciding what to wear I decided I would buy some tube socks....

Well we all know that was years ago now and they have served me well ever since..... However I went to put a pair on today and put my big toe through the end..... Now I know I can sew the end up but I feel it is the beginning and I might.... just might have to ........ throw them away!!!!

Oh dear!

It's VERY sad....

It's okay.....

I've found a web site that sells the socks....

www.skatersocks.com.....

They don't seem to make these in the UK, but thanks to the power of the internet I can buy them online...

Kimmy, I had a similar situation happen to me last week. I bought a bunch of striped tube socks for the tour as well (though I never found any with green stripes), and have been getting a lot of wear out of them since.
When at my daughter's high end dance studio, everyone is required to remove their street shoes even in the waiting room. Last week, I was there surrounded by what Stewart would call alpha moms, who were all slipping their pedicured feet out off their Pradas. Meanwhile, I pulled off my Chucks and inadvertently revealed my big ugly toe sticking out of one of my beloved tube socks. I still haven't thrown the pair out, but I guess I'll have to soon. Then again, I rather enjoyed generating the poorly veiled looks of horror among those type A moms. Maybe I'll save them for a repeat performance down the line.
