Sadly, Stewart isn't doing the soundtrack for Wall Street 2

I am starting to get concerned about whether the media reports in the Fall of 2009 about Stewart doing the soundtrack to Wall Street 2- Money Never Sleeps.

Stewart didn't mention it in the Guitarinternational.com interview, nor is Stewart (or anyone else) mentioned as the composer on the film's website, http://www.wallstreetmoneyneversleeps.com/

Any thoughts?

ETA: Jeff answers the question below.

good question, because someone left the current issue of the AARP magazine in the pantry at work and there is an ad for a contest to win a trip to the premiere of the Wall St. 2. My first thought was "is STEWART the composer? and if so, then I am not a member of AARP, do I have to enter my mom in this contest?" Not that she'd object!

After reading the SC interview on the Guitarinternational.com thread, I doubt it. It was a recent opportunity to promote the job, and he mentions nothing.

Hmmm...
Well I just did a very quick google and couldn't find Stewarts name anywhere in relation to Wall street 2.
There must be someone here who's in the know?

The pertinent quote is:

The movie, which is subtitled "Money Never Sleeps," is expected to hit theaters some time in 2010 and will feature a musical score care of Police drummer Stewart Copeland.

END QUOTE

However, the source is MTV, so I am not sure how reliable this is.

Punk-Ass !

Stewart and Charlie Sheen were pillars of my interest in this.

I had a demented, completely non-drug induced vision that the ST was done by a guy playing a lute....

Too bad STEWART is not doing the soundtrack because the latest trailer looks pretty good:
