...(following on from the idea of a David Byrne colaboration) if you had to convince someone who didn't know The Police and their music that the band where also deep into experimentation and could get mighty weird sometimes , what would be the 10 tracks that would make your "Experimental" compilation

Here are some of my favs :

"Behind my camel"

"Masoka Tango"

"How Stupid Mr Bates"

"Dead end Job"

"Be My girl - Sally"

"I burn for you"

...and you guys ?

Cheers

george

no; it is confusing tho..... was on the 'soundtrack' for Around The World released in 1982... but then appeared called something else on andy's solo album "bewitched" a couple of years later....... someone will correct me if i'm wrong...

it surprised me that "low Life" has Olaf Kubler on it who played on the Eberhard sessions 4 years earlier.

'once upon a daydream' good call.... dark old lyrics... i wonder which book/poem 'inspired' that song?

-Bewitched-

The song is from the 2nd Fripp / Summers collaboration and is the title song on Bewitched.

Non Police.

That's right

and how can you forget the beautifully awful "Flexible Strategies".
That sounds like nothing more than a soundcheck.

Great jams those...
