Hey gang, I'm looking forward to the next shows that I will see:

DAVE MATTHEWS BAND, MIlan, February 22nd
I never see the guy live; I guess it's about time; I don't have any record, I don't know one single song, but I guess I can't miss the chance to see with my own eyes and hear with my own ears what he's up to!

THE PRODIGY, MIlano, April 22nd
They are amazing, it's a real trip!!! I really like them live! 'Invaders Must Die Tour'...wow!!!

U2, Turin, August 4th/5th
Well, I liked their recent tour, and I sincerely never missed them in Italy since their first live appearance; I guess they will play some new songs from the album coming out in Autumn.

By now, this is all I'm planning...more will surely come.
What about yours?

Hi Gio

I hope you enjoy all the shows that you're going to.

I haven't got anything planned yet for this year yet but heard on the radio yesterday that there will be another tour in the UK this year of the stage show War of the Worlds. I saw this show a couple of years ago and it was brilliant and even had some of the original musicians. (Plus Richard Burton narrating by hologram.)

The War of the Worlds album was one of those things I grew up listening to and I still love it now. I hope i can get tickets too see it again in December of this year. Anyone who hasn't seen it should give it a whirl.

Probably won't do the Isle of Wight festival as it's so expensive even if you live here and The Police won't be playing.

Might go to Bestival but I don't know whose playing yet.

I have already seen Michael Schenker and Al Kooper - Have tickets for Alice in Chains on February 11th - when Macca decides to come, I'm as hopeful as when I was 9....

I have the following Toronto shows:

Dinosaur Jr. Jan 21
-first time seeing them. Apparently earplugs are a must.

Wilco Feb 23 (in Hamilton)
-my 3rd time seeing Wilco in the last few months which included 2 amazing shows at Massey Hall in Toronto.

Rodrigo y Gabriela Mar 5
-just announced this week and got my tics today. This is the gig that I've been wishing for for some time now.

Bedouin Soundclash (Toronto reggae band) Mar 12
-last time I saw them was in 2008 and as much as I didn't want to admit it, their show was better than any of the Police shows I saw on the reunion tour and the Police are my all time fav band.

Dave Wakeling May 18
-will be the 3rd time I'm seeing him. Always a great show, but the first time I saw him he had Lynval from the Specials and Pauline from Selector with him and as you can imagine that was one night of ska heaven.

ANYTHING w/ Adrian Belew, esp. if w/ his Power Trio, possibly Scott Miller-I like his music but sometimes gets a tad too crass on stage for me, he his a complete gentleman in the meet-and-greet line tho'!

I'm not sure, but I usually go see Lynyrd Skynyrd, Steve Miller, Foreigner and Bryan Adams during the summer (cheap tickets that time of year)... we'll have to wait and see.

I'm going to see Thievery Corporation for the first time at the 9:30 club in DC next Saturday. Wooooo!!!! I may go see Dave Wakeing there next month as well as thinking about going out to LA to see the Police Experience next month at Saint rocke. Other than those, I haven't really thought about it much except that I will probably see more shows from lesser known acts this year. Fortunately, we're blessed DC in that respect.

I'm gonna go see Muse when they play Nashville - didn't know anybody else who wanted to come, so bought a single! I'll let y'all know how it is.

Any Green Day dates in '10 - it's rumored there'll be some, but with 'American Idiot' hitting Broadway - who knows.

Got tix to see Aretha Franklin play the Ryman in April. That's just one of those shows you don't miss if you're breathing and not hospitalized.

You know, the one artist still holding the #1 spot on my bucket list has to be Prince. Anybody sees show info, let me know plz!

I'm hoping to catch a Bon Jovi concert sometime during their tour this Spring. There are a few other concerts I'm considering but nothing definite at this time.

I'm in for two U2 concerts (in NJ and Philly) but you probably already guessed as much.
was hoping for Boston after a friend piped up that she'd go if I could snag tickets. but so far, no word. I feel a twinge of "guilt" hoping for more U2 concerts in the Northeast when I know people in South America are anxiously awaiting word and the rumors only get so far and die out.
Might see them in Chicago if I get over there this summer to visit a good friend there.
I LOVE visiting Chicago, it is my "second city."

otherwise there isn't a lot that I'm hearing about or anticipating yet but usually the summer brings something good.
if nothing else comes up maybe I will see my first full Bon Jovi concert in NJ. I saw them at Live Earth and that was fun, I never was a big fan but over the years they sort of grew on me. I don't know about two hours of them though. If someone handed me a ticket I would go.
