Hah, it sounds like we might be getting another whopper tomorrow night (1'-2'). Hopefully, I'm just far enough south that we'll only get half that. Roofs are collapsing all over the place from the last storm. i fear some of my neighbors will be suffering the same thing because they didn't take the time to clear their downspouts.

HA! Are you kidding? Like we would miss Elvis + the Boss!!! Oh man! I'm still just stupid over having gotten to see that...glad I wasn't there live. Probably would have made a, er, spectacle of myself.

(Still wishing Nick Lowe had gotten a full show, but it was still cool to see him with Levon Helm, Toussaint, Thompson.)

Was really thinking about going to the ATL for the meet & greet, but it's a Sugarcanes show and I've already seen it. And, erm, I've already met Elvis. But if he does an M&G here next time, I doubt I'll be able to resist.

You know - his fan club people are pretty good. It really wouldn't have surprised me to have gotten an email - and I can't complain, since he does play here a lot.

Still, tho. Yow. That place is about the size of a broom closet. It woulda been awesome.
