OT - I've had the best Christmas day
Posted: 25 Dec 2009 20:17My daughter, who moved off the Island to Brighton back in the summer came home for Chistmas.
She did all the food shopping, cooked a fantastic Christmas dinner and danced around the kitchen with me to Certifiable whilst the spuds were roasting. What more can you ask for?
THEN she gave me a sweatshirt from Tourzilla that she had managed to buy from someone back in March. It's not new, it's big enough to keep my bum warm and almost my knees too, but it is a thing of great beauty as finances wouldn't stretch to souvenirs as well as tickets during the tour. I'm wearing it now.
Then we walked the dogs on the beach in the dark before she went on to visit her friends.
I've had the best Christmas day.
