Allrighteythen... What was the WORST present you ever got on Christmas? This is not to bash friends and relatives, but to celebrate the worst of the worst. I'm talking a present so bad you kept it because your brain could not wrap around the thought of what else to do with it...

Worst present I ever got: A box full of 15 bars of unwrapped Ivory Bar Soap from my Grandfather. Twenty-six years later and I still think wtf???

i got a beermat from my mum last year. a cardboard beermat. No distinguishing features or particular relevance or interest to me. A cardboard beermat.

A gift or a present is always a gift, and should not be judged. It's a thought, an afterthought, whatever. The person has thought of getting you something.
I have always been more interesting in giving than receiving anyway. My present is the joy of the person that gets the present.

This one will surely keep me up tonight thinking about it. But I have to agree with TOWOS. Although I'm sure I didn't see it like that when I was younger... and that's probably when I got the the Worst Present Ever. I'll have to get back with you on this one.

The absolute worst gift I have ever received was when my boyfriend at the time, gave me a battery operated clothes shaver. (you know, the kind device that removes the little pills of fuzz that happen to things like sweaters and such?)

Not counting the macaroni necklace my kid gave me last year (ouch, bad mom) I'd have to say the leather salad bowl with matching utensils. I swear such a thing exsists.
