LOS ANGELES (AP) - Sade is making music again. The soulful English group fronted by 50-year-old singer Sade Adu will release a new album Feb. 8, according to Epic Records. "Soldier of Love" will be the group's first studio album since 2000's "Lovers Rock." All five of Sade's studio albums have landed in the Top 10 on the Billboard Top 200, selling more than 50 million copies worldwide.

"Soldier of Love" was recorded in England and produced by the band and longtime collaborator Mike Pela.

I always loved her. That voice is like audio candy for the ear.
Can't wait.

Ya know, me too. I'm always instantly transported to the Caribbean whenever I hear her sing, since she's so popular there.

Guess I'll go preorder...

Transports me back to 1986, training with horses in Ireland and listening to Diamond Life on my new Sony Walkman.

Oh to be young again!

OMG!!!
I vividly remember that album Diamond Life - when it was high in the charts I remember it being played all over the place, it seemed to be on everywhere. I'm looking forward to hearing her playing again - I haven't listened to it for years, in fact I don't think I even have it on CD, I think I originally had it on vinyl.

That is such a coincidence, because for no particular reason, this afternoon I picked up my kd lang CD that I hadn't listened to for more than 10 years - that was another trip down memory lane!

I'm going off to look up Sade's new music now - thanks for the tip-off.... 8)
