UB40 opened, and as I remember, none of us could figure out how to say their name. LAME. (UB40 was later the first concert that I took my little sister to when she turned 12.)
What a show! To attend this show on the night of a family holiday took epic negotiations between me and my mom. She still feels allowing me to attend was some sort of parental failure on her part, whereas I feel that NOT taking my daughter to a show during the reunion tour was a parental failure. Especially when my daughter requests Walking on the Moon when we are driving around in the car.
BTW, I was older during the entire Police reunion tour, than my mom was when she caved and allowed me to go see them the first time, back in 1983.
Sometimes when she visits, I wear the concert t-shirt from this show just to annoy her.
