Well here an amazing rehearsal of "Bring on the night" between Andy Summers, Vinie Collaiuta and Gustavo Cerati (Argentinian former leader of trio rock band "Soda Stereo")

Gustavo Cerati, was invited by Miles Copeland for making the spanish version of a POLICE song part of the Tribute Album "Outlando's D'Americas. Cerati chose "Bring on the night" and wrote the lyrics in spanish and play the bass and acoustic guitar, he was invited to Los Angeles for recording it. Gustavo Cerati first met Stewart Copeland and after a chat Stewart apologized he couldn't be at those recording, because he was into the making of a soundtrack... Finally, Miles put in contact with Andy and Vinie Collaiuta... the result was amazing and after it Andy comment the great version he made with Gustavo Cerati, who confessed Andy he was an admirer of THE POLICE and that they saw them at Argentina in 1980 and was the inspiration for making his own band called "Soda Stereo"... well now the story has a video...here is it...enjoy:

Thank you Jose

This is one of my most favourite Police songs. Andy's guitar is just so beautiful at the start it almost brings a lump to my throat.

Loved the comment underneath too,

"He's English, is kind of cute though"

He is kind of cute isn't he?

Yeah I also love the atmsphera and rythm of "Bring on the night" .. I mean all, Sting's voice, Stewart beats and hit hats, Andys guitar chords and riff and Sting bass lines... I don't know how to explain, but definetely is one of my all time POLICE Favorite songs 8)

What do you think about this version?
