Quick notes before I forget.
A few fans reacted positively to the Stewart sighting mention on u2.com, for one of them I was able to copy exact words:

"HOT TOTTIE ALERT!!!!!!.HOT TOTTIE ALERT!!!!!!!!!"

The others were along the lines of "cool!" "one of the greatest drummers ever" and "oh wow, I love him" (paraphrasing) sorry, can't go back and get exact words...there are 2800 posts on the thread right now.

On another, but more serious, note, I realized that the date of this concert (October 25) is significant; on this date in 2001 U2 played the second of a few shows at MSG, which really helped a lot of New Yorkers get some sense of peace during a very bad time. (A certain other singer performed a lunchtime show in NYC that day...and by midnight I had absolutely no voice left!)

WoW,... this was such a wonderful treat to watch this all on YouTube!!

The picture was a bit distorted but the sound was awesome....

Policefan, my picture was not as sharp as I'd have liked either, but I thought it was my iffy cable modem as we have a problem with bandwidth in my neighborhood. I guess they didn't do HD to make it easier for more to connect? But I am glad there wasn't any rebuffering on my end. Hope I can figure out how to attach the laptop to my TV to watch it over again--preferably not at 2 AM so I can play it louder! I guess you will see them in Vancouver? Have a great time!

I had amazingly good audio AND video on my end, and lasted 'til about 1:45 a.m.
Never did spot Lara and Maggie (sorry...FB reference!). Perhaps Stewart whisked them off to the VIP section!!

I've watched the Pasadena show quite a few times now.
Even the picture quality improved.

Policefan, if you're so inclined, there are extensions to the Firefox browser that make it possible to relieve any cough you might have related to having to watch a streaming video online and would prefer instead to watch without being connected to the internet. Of course the DVD that will eventually be available for sale will have superior picture quality and perhaps some nice extras.

BTW I also heard via a friend who was in the pit that night that ANDY was there too--she spotted him on stage checking out equipment before the show, and she pointed him out to the people next to her and they started cheering for him. Yay Andy!
