OT: NYC area-Got a manual typewriter a musician can borrow?

An Alaskan musician that I know is playing a gig in NYC in November (11/6), and she won't be able to lug the antique typewriter that she plays percussively during one or two songs across country with her.

Any chance one of the NYC (and reasonably surrounding) area folks has a manual typewriter lying around that she can borrow? She'll treat it real nice, and you'd, of course, be welcome to watch it in action. (Gig is early (6-8) in Soho; I'm hoping to catch it.)

Doesn't have to work well as a typewriter: just has to make the appropriate tickety-tick sounds when you punch the keys.

If you or anyone you know can help, please post or give me a shout: dirtymartiniii at gmail dot com .

Thank you!

Dive, I will be sure to make the suggestion. So far the closest I've gotten is s'laps in Albany.

EQ, I figured it was appropriate here for just that reason!

Animal, I got nothin'.

Still ISO an NYC manual typewriter for a talented Alaskan lady, so do give me a shout if you've got one lying around to spare.
