Honorary Degree for Stewart?

Maybe I missed something, but why hasn't the University of California at Berkeley ever given an honorary degree to Stewart? Has this ever been suggested? or suggested and rejected by Stewart and company?
Don't we know somebody somewhere who can float this idea around? What have they (the University) been thinking (maybe they aren't thinking. Can we help them think?)

Or how about this: Stewart goes back after 30 years and picks up those final few credits, just for the heck of it!

I'm just sayin'...

P.S. EEEEK!!! This is post # 666!

I thought he graduated. I asked him some years ago if he regretted going to college, since he didn't end up using his degree and made it big in music. He said he didn't regret it, and that he would have been a teacher if he hadn't made it big. He had a backup plan, and I can't even come up with a plan one. :/

Ok, maybe I'm wrong, but I thought in one of my books I read that he was just a few credits shy of his degree when he hooked up wth Curved Air.

This looks like a job for Dietmar the Fact Czar.

Yeah, i read or heard in an interview SC was a few credits short.... And they won't let you just go back and pick up those lost credits and graduate after some number of years. You supposedly have to do it all within some number of years after you begin.

That is just plain stupid. So basically, all that work amounts to nothing?

Education in this country needs a serious overhaul.

There was an old lady in my class last semester who told me she was coming back after almost twenty years, and that she only had like three credits to go. If I were Stewart, I'd go ahead and finish those credits... if I could.
