Stewart Copeland - covered

The percussion on the Ben Hur Live score is not all Stewart's. He had the help of German percussion quartet "ElbtonalPercussion".

What's interesting about them is that this ensemble is recording a record right now with Stewart's songs rearranged for percussion - the working title is "ElbtonalPercussion play Steward Copeland".

they met him in Hamburg 2007 at The Police's gig
they recorded with him in Düsseldorf this year on July 15 and 16

Elbtonal + Stewart on the Police wiki (including photos):

ElbtonalPercussion mention tracks from "Wall Street" and "Rumble Fish" on their website. If I'm not mistaken there will be a Klark Kent track, too.

In addition, on their 2005 album "Four Elements" they even did a coverversion of Sting's "St. Agnes & The Burning Train" (appeared on the "Soul Cages" album in 1991)...

The new album should be interesting!
