Note--I said BOOK. Didn't see the audio version.

I just bought it at Borders by MSG (33rd Street & 7th Avenue). It wasn't on the first floor, but it is in an end cap display in the biography section on the 2nd floor.

Checked on Amazon this morning.
They have the hardcover listed, of course.
But no audio version, yet.
I assume when the audio book is "in the can" and has a release date Amazon will have available for preorder.

Thanks for the heads up. Wonder if I'll take a stroll to my nearest Borders tonight (though I have my doubts Philly'll have it early...we'll see!0

I wouldn't have thought to look for it already, but did so because I saw on tp.com that Leanne and Lisa saw it in a store in Foxboro/Boston and then someone else (here, I think) posted about seeing it in a store in another state. Laurie told me on the phone this afternoon that her local Borders in PA did not have it out yet and they were a little horrified that the NYC store put it out already :) In any case right now I can't read it because I am too tired after 2 U2 concerts in 2 days.

Damn! I should have gone to look for it before I left work.

Any news of a NYC book signing anywhere? I was at the DVD signing all those moons ago, and have been kicking myself for 2 years for not bringing a new snare head for the maestro to sign....

My local Borders did not have STH but it did have the Lynn Goldsmith book for $5.00. The store also offers free wifi internet access which is new since the last time I was there, about two weeks ago.

According to the Barnes & Noble website, it will be available on the 29th. Can anyone verify?

I picked up my pre-ordered copy this evening. It was being held behind the cashier counter. I didn't notice any copies on display, but I was between motherly errands and didn't have time to peruse the store much. I've read four chapters and loving it!

AMZ's got Oct 1 as the delivery date on my preorder...which I may or may not cancel. Anyone know if there are differences between the US & Brit version?

I checked Chapters (the one close to Hornby) today and they did not have The
Book. I really wanted to have a peek at Bella’s picture! But like Conroy, I noticed the Lynn Goldsmith book for $9.something. I also noticed that Chapters charged my Visa card – so My Book schould be on it’s way.

I called around to a couple of Borders and Barnes and Nobble. Some had it in the store but not yet unpacked and ready for sale.

Suspect I won't be able to get it until the offical U.S. release date of Tuesday.
