Man it feels good to be back on here!

I missed you!

I have been busy. Moved into a new house over the summer, went to my 20th reunion, boys starting 3rd and 6th grade (middle school? ahhh!) and having a blast directing the high school band program, as always. We are doing a funky 70's show this year and having fun.

I also have some great news. I recently won a major 'got talent' contest and now I am competing in another contest for best youtube video! I did a drumline style solo to a backing track that I wrote. The contest was put on by a great company called R3Global who is a huge distributor of the Acai potent beverage called MonaVie. I drink and distribute MonaVie on the side (when I am not teaching music).It's awesome. My solo incoporates their new health-conscience energy drink called Emv.

Anyhoo..Below is the video link of the winning drum solo I performed at the contest in Orlando on August 22nd. I wasn't even thinking of winning (I am getting old you know!). I just had fun, then won!

This video is now entered into a new contest to be a commercial for the company. The youtube video with the most views each month from now to January wins certain things. In January, the video with the most views the first two weeks of January wins the contest and grand prizes.

If you like the video, please pass it on to family and friends. Save it as a favorite in your youtube account, and revisit every now and then. The more you pass it on, the more chance I may have of doing well in the contest. I will touch base again with you in January for the final push if you don't mind helping then too.
