Just to give this lunacy a bit of context, BBC Radio 4's Today programme is the heavyweight radio news programme of the day. It is territory into which elected officials fear to tread. I'm pretty sure they've never had anyone on there playing spoons and/or bits of the studio before. Did anyone hear which cabinet minister had to follow that? Marvellous stuff.
