Thanks so much Phil. I think the forum's collective research had only turned up the Loose Ends one up to this point.

ETA: Love the precision of the Radio Wales timing.

Whoa! Anyone queued up to record these?!

I'd try but I'll be in the UK on hellishly expensive hotel-Internet rates....

OMG the last question asked was mine!!!!!!

"After your book tour(!) and Ben Hur, what's next? Any chance of more Oysterhead?"

He just answered by talking about Oysterhead being about making it up as you go along but didn't say if there'd be any more. Sorry guys, I tried!!!

It was a decent interview. Too short and interrupted by news (BBC 5Live is a news and sport station), but still fun. Nothing new and he came across as, well as Stewart!!!!

If I get a moment I'll try and elaborate (unless someone has managed to record it and get a link up) but I have to try and feed the kids now.

From a very happy Helen in Kingston :P

this might / should work (depending on geography) to listen again to the simon mayonaise show on which stewart and daftart's question featured earlier.........starts at about 1 hour 40 mins.

early on he calls The Rhythmatist" a dumb idea.. "we knew it was a dumb idea, we were making it up as went along..."

My God doesn't 'Does Everyone Stare' sound just timeless.

Somehow music on the radio always sounds better than on a cd .... lol

Genius.

As did the 'twelve to fifteen people' who would have been reading his 'blog', for whom he wrote the disaster gig post. Either drummers can't count, or Mr Copeland was engaging in unbelieveably wild understatement. ;-)

He also managed to make Ben Hur sound even more bizarre than it did in previous reports.

I do love Loose Ends - we're now getting a live blast of an 80-something bluesman T-Model Ford.
