So, vespa and I are just back from Dragon*Con.
Sales were "meh" but we had a great time nevertheless. We actually managed to hook up, albeit briefly, with a number of nutters while there including MariaH, Kiki, Lady Starblade, and my Philly friend Creatch whom some of you met in Philly and at MSG. (Plutonic, guess you were busy, would've been great to see you while in town as well.)
Got a good group nutter shot which I have to upload tomorrow, but you can see some of my other photos here (more are coming, I only got through Friday and Saturday so far):

Hopefully will see more folks there in the future. It really is a blast of a convention and something worth checking out if you're into scifi/fantasy at all (plus they have a very big music-programming track which I never get the chance to check out!)
And oh yes, my new avatar is thanks to getting to spending some time chatting with my childhood idol and the entire reason why I am "sockii" today, Dwight Schultz (aka Howlin' Mad Murdock of the A-Team). Other folks could blow their wad on photos with Shatner, Nimoy, and Patrick Stewart...all I wanted was a moment with my A-Team!
