OT: help us plan the next Police Experience set...

Postby falloutmike on 06 Aug 2009 22:21

So, we were talking about this and decided to ask our Nutter Buddies what they think.

We're making our way back to St. Rocke in Hermosa Beach, CA on Saturday Sept 5, 2009. The advantage of doing the show in a club is that we can take a few more chances set-wise, and we want YOU to help us out.

We've got 2hrs to fill, so what is you'd want to hear?? Sky's the limit...

let us know either here or find us on Facebook...

yo!

You should play the Zenyatta album straight through. Hell you could probably do Outlandos and Regatta straight through as well in just a little over 2 hours.

Being a musician also i would consider these:

Start your set with an instrumental...and doing mini sets from each record.

Masoko Tanga and then segue into Dead End Job
Truth Hits Everybody
Born In The 50's
Death Wish
Message
No Time This Time
Bring On The Night
Driven To Tears
Voices Inside My Head
Shadows In The Rain
The Other Way Of Stopping
Omega Man
Secret Journey
Spirits
Flexible Strategies
Synchronicity 1
Tea In The Sahara
Miss Gradenko
Murder By Numbers

1st Encore********

Can't Stand Losing You
Walking On The Moon
Don't Stand So Close To Me
Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic
Synchronicity 2

2ndEncore********

Demolition Man
King Of Pain

If I were to do a Police set that would be my choice :)

Mike hope this helps!!!!

Born in the '50s, one of my favorite live from the early club dates.

Zenyatta would be fun all the way through, especially if you could "borrow" a certain kit

I hope you come to Vegas again soon first of all. As far as a setlist is concerned. I have to think about that a bit.
BTW... It has been almost two years since the instore and the first time I met you. What an incredible day.

It would be way off canon, but I'd love to hear someone do a live Police/KK-"One World"/"Excesses" mashup à la Jo Publik: http://jo.publik.googlepages.com/bio
<--
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.
