Heh. You know, I really didn't realize I was a huge Springsteen fan until we saw him live @ 'Roo this year. :) Since that time...well, let's just say that quite a few songs from the new record have been on heavy rotation on the Divemistress household IPods of late.

Thanks for posting Dive.
I hope he makes it out West one more time on this tour.
Yes, once you see him live you do listen to his music in a whole new light.
I have never been a huge Bruce fan but Mrs. Throb is a HUGE fan. Once I saw him a few times over the last ten years since he has been back with the E street band I definately was a "convert" and got into his music a lot more.
I even got the Seeger Sessions, which I actually love!

GAH. I'd love to forget about Giants Stadium and jump on Philly but I really don't want to take vacation time for this and it's a bitch to get to my office the morning after a concert in Philly. Did it last year for the Police but, besides that being a POLICE concert, it was summer and we had daylight at 6 AM. Just don't know if I want to go there in mid-October. Plus I am still holding out hope that there will be a ticket drop for the Saturday, October 3 show.

But Dive--if you can get to see him, GO! Do not hesitate. I think you know this already but wear comfy shoes because it's gonna be a L O N G show! :)

OH WAIT A SECOND. New York--MSG! holy crap!!!!!!!!!

I dunno. I saw him in Hershey and it was great. Now I can say I've seen The Boss and he puts on a good show. I really liked that he took song requests via audience signs! ( Apparently not all aging rockers have bugs up their arses *coughstingcough* ;-) )

But, since alot of these dates are in the fall, I'm gonna save my remaining vacay days for any possible BOOK TOUR dates!

HINT HINT STEWART!!!!

Looks like Bruce is not done with the Spectrum in Philly. I guess the Spectrum will live to the end of the year, Pearl Jam has two dates at the end of October.

They just posted this over on backstreets, Bruce's fan site:

Filling out the fall U.S. itinerary on either side of the five-night Giants Stadium stand, we're looking quite a few tour stops in states that had missed out thus far—notably in Florida, Ohio and Michigan—as well as returns to a few cities that just can't get enough, like Chicago, DC, and Philadelphia. For anyone who thought Bruce had said goodbye to the Spectrum in Philly earlier this year... well, call it a long goodbye, as the E Street Band play two more shows there, October 13 and 14.

Sorry to see no Northwest dates—no new shows anywhere near the Pacific, actually—but the Southeastern U.S. gets a bounty with Nashville, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, and Greenville in September; St. Louis and Kansas City in October; and Charlotte in November. Also in November: Live in New York City, as Bruce and the Band return to Madison Square Garden for a back-to-back pair of shows. The fall run, as it now stands, ends November 15 in Milwaukee.

I'm really wondering why we're getting a second show. He already played that venue earlier this year, then Bonnaroo. Guess he had a good time!

I reeeeeally like his new album. Very Byrds-sounding in spots. It's getting panned by some critics, but who cares.
