One of the best tracks from Stewart! This could also be a great Police song!

More Colts (Copeland/Holt), please!!!

I loved the Droids theme and wondered if there exists a longer version. I also believe there exists a least a third song that appeared in episode the Great Heap. Check out around the 45 sec mark in this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBbHNW5CJ2g

I love this song.

BTW, I'm not sure if this was the case on the old design (can't recall), but fyi: the Copeland Vault (Multimedia section) has four KK tunes posted after the Spyro tunes.

This song is called "Angel Love" written by Derek Holt and included at the soundtrack LP released only in Spain in 1986.

The original version of "Love Lessons" is on a charity compilation called Live For Life. There was a 12" EP with this version and the one on Kollected Works, along with a track called "Amy" from a band called Silent Movies. But, you probably already know that.

I prefer the original version. It's a little more aggressive. The version on Kollected Works sounds very much like it was made for a Star Wars type show, with the synth sounds.

I also love the Droids theme, "In Trouble Again". I often hoped that it would somehow wind up on a compilation somewhere but I'm sure that the legal hurdles were just too annoying.

Does anyone know exactly what Derek Holt's role was? Did he do the high harmonies on LL and lead on "Trouble"? Sounds way too high for Stewart.

Are you sure that version is original? Cause both versions came out same year, 1986.

Yes, should have clarified. I know both mixes were done at the same time. I only refer to one as "original". Because that was the version that ended up on Live for Life. The other mix ended up on the Kollected Works CD. That one was also on the 12" with the Silent Movies track. Sorry, it was a long day with some naughty 4th graders and my brain was mush!

I completely agree with zilboy.
Please check out his high voice here… (He was a member of Climax Blues Band from BTM label in the 70's.)

I think Derek did the high harmonies also on “Stay Ready” which included on the CD “Kollected Works”.

Following are all versions of “Love Lessons”.

● original version (3:15)
appeared on the LP ”Live! For Life” and later on the single “Love Lessons” (7”: IRM 120, 12”: IRMT 120)

● remix (‘86) (3:51)
appeared on the B side of the single “Love Lessons” (ONLY in 12": IRMT 120)

● remix (‘87) (3:59)
appeared on the B side of the single “The Equalizer Busy Equalizing” (7": IRM 147, 12": IRMT 147)

● remix (‘95) (3:30)
appeared on the Klark Kent CD “Kollected Works”

● Spanish version (“Lecciones De Amor”) (3:05)
appeared on the Spanish soundtrack LP “Ewoks y Droids” (062 24 0683 1)
and sung by unknown Spanish singer (NOT Stewart or Derek)

You can see those pictures here. (Post No. 504)
