Live Nation Inc. is starting a promotion Wednesday that will see service fees dropped for tickets at many concerts in the company's group of venues nationwide.
"No Service Fee Wednesdays" will kick off on June 3 as the company will drop the service fees on more than five million lawn tickets and hundreds of concerts. The no-fee promotion will start at 12:01 a.m. in each time zone.
Among the concerts that will covered under the promotion will be: Aerosmith, Coldplay, Nickleback, Phish and the Warped Tour. Phish will play June 20-21 and Coldplay will perform July 25 at Live Nation venue Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy.
Live Nation (NYSE: LYV) is based in Beverly Hills, Calif.
