OT: Yeah, I'm back on stage!

Hi everybody!
This coming Saturday I'll play in Verona (Italy), in one of the main squares, for a very interesting festival called 'Tra Parole E Musica' (it can be translated as 'In between words and music').
It's a comeback for one of the most interesting projects I've been working at for the last three years; we did some shows up until a couple of years ago, but stopped then to work mainly in studio, and to deal with a few labels, ending up with nothing in our hands as we didn't like their contract proposals. Who cares...we decided to go on anyway, and a couple of months ago we went back in our rehearsal room and started playing again, leaving the recording studio on our back (sometimes it's good to 'sweat' again).
This coming Saturday we'll be on stage at 9pm, the big time I can tell, on the main night of the three days festival; I feel like living again when I'm on stage! That is the place that I call home sometimes. I've been waiting for so long and now I'll be there again!
The new adventure that I've been working at for about three years now, is called Bianca (White - female name), and is based on our singer, a 25years old lovely girl, a pretty talented (and insane) songwriter whose band features me on bass (as well as manager and co-producer), a couple of guitar players, drums and piano.
If you wanna listen to something (just demos) go to www.myspace.com/biancaweb
while the festival site is http://www.tramusicaeparole.it/2009/artisti.html

We feel good, there is a lot of pressure as some people from the music biz very interested in us will be there, but we are just thinking about doing a good show; the record industry can wait .... (hey, I DO work in the record industry...!!!)

If someone will be around in the city of Romeo & Juliet, come down and say hi!

Rock'n'roll my friends!

(btw: on Bianca myspace, the first friend Cast-Ego is me)

I have no idea what being on stage feels like, but if it makes you feel like that, I hope you get to do it a LOT.

Wishing you and your colleagues a great, great show Giovanni. I'm sure the fates will be kinder to you in Verona than they were to Romeo and Juliet!

Thank you all for your support!

The gig went very well, considering it was the first time on stage since January 6th, 2007!

Everyone was impressed about the quality of the songs and the performance; the other bands playing were also congratulating with us.
Our singer did a very good performance for what I could hear (I will then listen to the recording to give the right opinion).
I had a problem at the end of the first song as the jack connecting the bass to my pedal effects was making an awful noise (it seemed that nobody could hear it anyway), but I had to change it at the very end of the song and we have no technicians right now with us...anyway, I was as fast as the light!
I also had to let our mac starts; we have a few sounds in the background and, in between songs, I had to take care of the damn thing....we will hire someone in the near future!!!

We may post something soon on our myspace (if I like what I see and hear...ehehe).

Thanks again for your precious support, you know it's very very important for me!

Well done Gio!! :D

so proud of you!!

No matter what happens you are living the dream

Who ever is out there do not be afraid of living your dreams even if you fail for it is better than some one who wishes and never does!

Follow Stewart and your heart desire, he had a passion and followed his heart and look what he had achieved, just as Gio and his team.

Kelly and Moe wanted to connect and look what they achieved a flag that went around the world and touched so many people and now Stewart our drummer and hero has that flag and knows so many personally and from this site thanks to Gio and teams

Thanks guys!

Stewart, Gio and his team keeps all our dreams alive and everyone who is here!

you rock my world

I am so so proud of all off you and what you all have given us all!
Jan :D

Thank you Jan, too kind, really!
I truly believe that if you want to reach your goal, just go for it and try your best; you have one chance in a million and that's good, as that means there is a chance!
Thanks again to you all.

Actually, I really just wanted to find Amy in a crowded airport, but I like your version much better, Jan. :D

Good job, Boss. Congrats. Glad to hear that it went well.
