PJ Harvey Dates

PJ Harvey is rather hard to catch in the US these days, the last few albums have just seen one LA and one NYC date, one night each, from her.

This time, however, she is coming back around so I wanted to post this for those who may not know. She is touring with John Parish, with whom she has collaborated two albums, and so the sets are likely going to be from those (Dance Hall at Louse Point and A Man A Woman Walked by, the latter being just newly released) and not her solo stuff (even though he produced some of her albums).

Dates/Venues:

June 2nd, Centre Stage, Atlanta GA www.ticketmaster.com 17/4

June 3rd, Madison Theatre, Covington KY www.ticketmaster.com from 25/4

June 5th, Warner Theatre, Washington, DC www.ticketmaster.com from 17/4

No Bonnaroo. Well, that stinks. Although, given my luck, they'd put her up against either Neko Case or Elvis Costello...(I'm already a little worried about either of those two scheduled at the same time as Wilco...)

Neko is slated for Sunday, both Elvis and Wilco are Saturday thusfar acc. to Inforoo...

Sure thing, email inc!

Just in case anyone else wants to know, Inforoo is the mb for the most dedicated Roosters and they have a thread there in "Troo Music Lounge" heading called "2009 Bonnaroo Schedule" where what people have done in mined the individual artist websites to see if they have specific dates listed for the Roo weekend (so like the Beasties list on their website not just Bonnaroo, which is the 11th to the 14th, but specifically Friday the 12th). Anyhoo, the Roo nutters have parsed a good deal of the schedule by this means...at least as far at what dates the artists play and even some general timeslots..The OP has been updated with each subsequent post, so just look at the first post as it is comprehensive with all the info gathered thusfar:

Unfortunately, both PJ Harvey and X, who are doing shows in the area during the same time, are not slated for Roo (still holding out hope, no matter how crammed the schedule is)...
