Bun E. Carlos plays drums BOTH LEFT handed and RIGHT Handed

Does this mean he has set up his kit in both left and right handed configurations? Anybody got more insight into this? Anybody tried it?

Seems like a pretty good way to work out the isomorphic asymmetry inherent in the standard set up. And to work on your 4 limb independence/interdependence.

Thoughts?

He does play both and yes he has plyed both right and left handed setups.

It's definitely not the little Hanson.

I dunno about flippin' my kit around, Dan. My brain's pretty fucked dealing with getting all four limbs doing the "isomorphic asymmetry" thing without trying to get it to learn everything in reverse!

And yeah, Bun e. Carlos is a switch hitter, like I am bi-techtual(mac and pc).

the wild thing is, he isn't smoking in the videos for these. And Bun HAD to smoke onstage at all times with CT. Made for a HUGE PITA at venues with no smoking rules, but, no smoking=no playing for him!
