'Driven to Tears' by a bootleg...

Dallas 06/26/07 to be exact.
Wow. I hadn't listened to this for a while and it's just incredible. And to think I actually got to see this show...(this is the one I wrote about for 'This is Not Our Last Goodbye.')
I remember literally tearing up at the point of 'Truth Hits.' Listening to this recording I'd do it all over again.
Did this really happen? Did we really get to see all these shows? Or is it just a figment of my fevered imagination...?
(ok, yes, I've seen photos of myself at some shows...but I don't always believe everything I see on the Internet...
)

I can verify Dallas did happen.
It was muggy and raining like hell outside.
Inside it was muggy and sticky and The Police after 2 days off were super!
Never forget it!

Dallas was indeed a good show. One of the few shows from Tourzilla that I have on my work iTunes.
The show that was ethereal to me (other than 8/7/08 at MSG) was the Salt Lake City Show. Still not 100% sure that was not a dream. The points from The Man during Roxanne were just . . .

Secret Journey--you're not from Tyler, are you? I happen to know some people that were at that soundcheck.

Visa confirms that one as well. And so do I.

No no...the old Secret Journey Ranch is in Central Texas and I was never lucky enough to get to the soundchecks. Beer in the parking lot was always more important...

Why, thank you very much, EQ. That has given me a smile this morning.
Just had my own little "huh" moment a few minutes ago.
Next month it will be two years since the Police tour opened in Vancouver. Which clocks that Dallas show similarly as well.
Two.
Years.
*Years.*
Weird.
This time thing: it really is hard to get a grasp on.

Tell me about- I think about that every time I look at my daughter- she's gonna be 5 this year. FIVE! Wtf.

That was technically your first full actual police concert of the tour, Dive! Bonnaroo was a different thing, as you know... Although I have the Roo flag signing pics in order, and it makes me a little misty seeing the pristine back of the flag start to be corrupted <giggle>
Well the say comedy = tragedy plus time but I still can't laugh about the Dallas bus ride just yet, so it hasn't been long enough <grin>
Miss you all so much--to get a 'Vancouver' or a Dallas/Houston/New Orleans road trip all over again...<sigh>
