Hysterical. Smudge, is this a real show? The spoof is so complete that I can't tell.

No idea - although it wasn't published on 1st April. Guess we'll know on 9th April when it goes on sale and ticketbastard's servers collapse ;-)

Anybody else notice that in the article's photograph Michael McKean inexplicably has two hands on his shoulders? Too funny...

I'd love to see a show in which both the Folksmen and Spinal Tap are performing.

I think this is real, that is an actual show.

The Spinal Tap guys are touring the U.S. under the name Unwigged and Unplugged:

Re: 2009 concert tour

Gentlemen:

I have good news and bad news.

The bad news:
Your 2009 “Unstoppable” tour has been cancelled.
The poor economy plays a role in this decision, as
does the band’s history, pertaining to shows.

The good news:
Much of your repertoire will be performed in a concert
setting this spring in the Guest/McKean/Shearer “Unwigged and Unplugged” tour across the U.S. If you’re interested, we can probably get you a limited number of seats.

More information is available at www.unwigged.com

Our best to your “families”.

Sincerely,
Nathan Goniff [/quote]

It isn't a spoof. And floor seating has sold out. Unnless you buy the £150 VIP package.

Can't work out whether that is funny or depressing...
