Report from the Andy's photography events in Tokyo April 4~5
Posted: 06 Apr 2009 15:17
Hi everyone.
All Andy's photography events were finished.
I wrote my reports for both events here.
April 4 Andy’s talk event at BLD Gallery
I & all my friends arrived there much earlier than others,
So we all could get our front-row seats & 2nd-row seats.
First the audience seemed all so nervous with waiting him,
But Andy eased our tension with good laughs & charming smiles.
The gallery allowed us to give him some questions and some of us did it.
I asked him as “If there are any photos taken at Peru in the photograph book? I have some peruvian friends, they want to know that.”
He answered me as “Peru was beautiful place and I took many great photos there. Maybe I’ll publish them someday”
My husband Takashi also asked him as “What color is Japan for you?”
He replied as “Green”
And there was a special guest for Andy.
He was Daido Moriyama, a very famous photographer in Japan.
Andy said as Mr.Moriyama is a master of him.
So they started the talking about photograph.
Seemed they both enjoyed the event so much.
And then, booksigning.
Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to talk to him there.
So I told to him quickly and gave him all my gifts and said good-by.
After the event was finished, we all out from the building what gallery placed in,
And I & friends went for a break.
When we went back to the building, We saw some fans were waiting for Andy there.
So we also joined with them and waited him for a while.
And Andy came out from the building with smiling all over the face.
He said “Thank you” “Bye” to all of us with shaking hands and faded away with friends in the city lights…
April 5 Andy’s Booksigning at Aoyama Book Center
There were a lot of faces we saw at the talk-event yesterday.
So We called to each other and I could meet some new fan friends there.
I was happy with it.
Then Andy arrived at the place.
This event was pretty defferent from the another event in all respects.
Maybe one of the big reason is The book center is getting used to having a star as a guest just like Andy.
So everything went so great and Andy & us fans were all having fun during the event.
I said Andy as “I was at your Talk-event yesterday”
He replied as “Yes I know you were there” and continue his word as “Masa….?”
I was moved and told him “Yes I'm Masayo!!!!”
He remember my name...OMG....
And I tried to explain about my fan-group on FB a little, and said as “Please read the group file later”
He said “OK, I will”
At the last, I plucked up all my curage and asked him as “Hug me please”
And he did it for me.
I was in heaven and felt like crying.
And after that, a lot of fans asked him good-by hug.
And hug, hug, smile, and take picture…..
That was amazing moment….
and Andy looked really enjoying all those things...
And the last, Andy asked us as “May I take your photo?” and took our photo with his camera.
And the next, his friend Wataru Asanuma took our photo with Andy….
What a treat for all fans!
Thank you thank you thank you Andy!!!!!!!!!!!
We all love you and enjoyed our time with you from bottom of our hearts!!!!
