GET ME THE POLICE - THE DVD

Ciao my gang! When I call Eugenio and tell him that I have a new idea, he trembles...let me see you in this case.
I guess most of you know what is the GET ME THE POLICE video recording; it was edited in 1985/1986 and gathered images of many (if not every) Police recording, including some Sting solo early recordings taken from THE DREAM OF THE BLUE TURTLES.
Images showed front cover, back cover of every release, country by country, rarities, freaks, etc...and a voice giving information about that release accompanied the images.
Now, I have never seen a kinda sequel of that recording; 24 years later wouldn't it be about time to edit a new version of GET ME THE POLICE with all the stuff released in so many years? The Police would be anyway the subject, I would not include anything out of the band, no solo recordings, no relative projects, etcc...just THE POLICE.
By now it would be interesting to know if you would agree; I just sent this message to the ISUN mailing list as well as to a Police collectors mailing list.
Is there anybody out there who could work as a main point of reference to whom we can send our video stuff?
The good thing could be that each one of us, main collectors since the dinosaurs era as well as the later involved collectors, could film their precious records with a simple handy videocamera; if you saw GET ME THE POLICE, you know what I mean.
It's too early to talk about the way to film our stuff (it would be good to use one single way to film in order to create something coherent); I just need to know if there are some other crazy people out there that would recreate something that when I got it in my hands for the first time I felt in heaven!
GET ME THE POLICE lasted something like 2 hrs...this new one could even be a 2-dvd set!!!
Get back to me with your ideas; with all these social network sites, we can also have one common place to coordinate (facebook for example).
Giovanni
Ps.: to all of you SC.net forumers: easy to understand that I would love to work on a GET ME STEWART COPELAND DVD (that is something completely different from the dvd Eugenio and I are working at); any volunteer?
