I say approximately $5000 because the seller seems to have multiple package options that I'm too tired to think about:

As a bonus, the winning bidder will save that gorgeous, sparkly blue kit from those god-awful (no offense) Pepto-pink doors.

I wish I could seriously drum to justify spending loads of cash in this horrible economy (even at the bargain price of 5K)
That is sooooo tempting. Just to get it and look at it daily.
There are people who buy sculpture for their homes and call it art and they aren't half as pretty as that mother.

Right on.
And I just noticed that the seller is offering free UPS Ground shipping. That's pretty damn impressive.

Yeah. It's just killing me that all sorts of fun stuff is on a dramatic sale right now (including plane tickets to London for $300 r/t! $300!) just as I can't justify buying any of it...

I know. Vespa's all "I could help you pay for part of it" but I'm all "yeah, but I don't even have PART of that $$ available right now..."

Depends, EQ. You want us to say Yes or say No?
(Far be it from *me* to encourage the least sensible ideas . . .)

How 'bout a bunch of us all chip in, buy it, and share custody? Each person can keep it for a month and then drive it to the next place.

SSssssssseeeeexxxxxxyyyyyyy!!!
Sweet mama of Police blue sparkle, that thing gets prettier every time I see it.
(Covers ears and eyes and chants) LALALALLALALALALALAICAN"THEARYOU.
I wonder if the Easter Bunny would bring me that instead of a lifetime of chocolate.
And, DM, you are right -- some one needs to save it from the flamingo doors. That place looks tackier than a Palm Beach funeral parlor.

*Deep sigh*
I so hear you! I don't have a mortgage but my kids have this crazy idea about getting university educations.
Higher learning doesn't sparkle like that though.

Not trying to torture anyone (much), but just an FYI to anyone who might be seriously contemplating the cost: auction ends tomorrow (Apr-05-09 08:33:09 PDT).
