so, i'm in the green room backstage at Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight for the Les Claypool taping and who should amble on in? yep, you guessed it. SC!

after getting up the courage i went over and asked him about Ben Hur, told him i couldn't make it to Europe to see it but wanted to know if it was as thrilling as I had imagined. he confirmed my suspicions and told me he'd send me a picture of it! of course he was only joking about sending me the shot, but once again the man proves himself as a humble but jovial superstar.

he stayed for both songs and the after-gig socializing. OK enough stalker reports. thought you'd like to know!

I was sitting in my Japanese class yesterday and the girl who sits directly across from me in the lecture room was wearing a Bonnaroo t-shirt. The guy sitting next to her wanted to see the back, but there were too many bands. So he said, "Who was there?"

She said, "Well, Oysterhead was there."

And my arms flew up in the air and I went..."OYSTERHEAD! YES!"

And my sensei was so damn confused. But we did a long-distance high five and continued learning past tense short forms.
